Hero
Life is your vehicle.
You are the driver. Not a passenger, not cargo — the driver. Where it goes, what condition it’s in, and whether it gets you where you actually want to be is on you.
SoulWagon is the book about that vehicle: cognitive entertainment that treats your life as the machine it is — and hands you the operation manual. It’s coming soon from John Curren, host of A Swift Kick in the Ass.

The idea
Most people drift. They run a vehicle they never inspected, on fuel they never chose, toward a destination somebody else put in the GPS.
SoulWagon is about taking the wheel on purpose: knowing your machine, maintaining it before it breaks, and rebuilding it when life does what life does. No fluff, no hand-holding — the same unfiltered approach the podcast has run on since 2014.
The real SoulWagon
This isn’t just a metaphor. In John’s garage sits a 1964 Mercedes-Benz 220 SB — the literal SoulWagon — being rebuilt by hand: fuel pump, Weber carburetors, the works. It’s slow, it’s stubborn, and it refuses to quit. Sound familiar?
